Structural Biology Hub: Laura Gunn, Cornell SIPS

Join Weill Institute for Cell and Molecular Biology and the Structural Biology Hub on Monday October 20, 2025 for the first in our seminar series featuring Associate Professor, Dr. Laura Gunn, Ph.D. from the Plant Biology Section in the School of Integrative Plant Sciences as she delves into Using structural biology to understand carbon fixation. MONDAY OCTOBER 20, 2025 4:00 PM 226 WEILL HALL Structural Biology is undergoing a transformation. Breakthrough technologies, from AI-driven structure prediction like AlphaFold to cutting-edge cryo-EM and next-generation mass spectrometry, are rapidly changing how we study protein structure, interactions, and function. The Structural Biology Hub will bring together leading technologists and expert users to explore the latest advances and spark forward-looking discussions on the future of the field. We endeavor to connect researchers from across campus to encourage the sharing of ideas and technology and to facilitate collaborations.
