This year’s workshop centers on that question, offering practical frameworks, tools, and examples for helping students build adaptability, confidence, and readiness for life beyond Cornell—without sacrificing academic rigor. Join us for our annual two-day teaching workshop that connects educators across Cornell to explore new approaches and develop practical tools for strengthening our teaching practice. This year's workshop is focused on strengthening student preparation in a rapidly changing world. The workshop features interactive sessions led by Cornell educators and colleagues, with opportunities to explore: What matters most for student learning and preparation in an AI-driven landscape Classroom strategies and activities that promote transferable skills Course design approaches aligned with long-term student success Peer discussion and feedback on course ideas and materials Participants will leave with concrete tools, refined course materials, and new connections with instructors tackling similar challenges.
